BABY BORN PREGNANT WITH TWINS

pregnant with twins
A baby born pregnant with twins?  When I first saw this, I thought for sure that this must be one of those made-up tabloid stories.  After reading it an looking further into the story, I found it to be quite true.  The rare condition is called fetus-in-fetu, and fewer than 200 cases have been documented to date.
According to a report in the Hong Kong Medical Journal, when the little girl was born (at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Hong Kong in 2010) doctors originally thought that she had two tumors in her abdomen.  They were quite surprised to find that there were two fetuses instead.  As a matter of fact, the fetuses were quite developed.  They each had a spine, intestines, bones with bone marrow, “primitive” brain matter, an anus, a rib cage and an umbilical cord.  How did the little girl get pregnant? “Since it is impossible for the little girl to have conceived the pregnancy on her own, the fertilization of the twin fetuses, of course, belongs to her parents, which has gone to the wrong place,” Dr. Yu Kai-man told the South China Morning Post.  At three weeks old, the baby underwent surgery to remove the twins.  The twins, according to reports, had gestated up to 10 weeks.

SANTA CLAUS COMES EARLY?

Some people still believe that Santa Claus comes down the chimney to deliver presents. The lady in this story went down the chimney… to deliver her love??? or because she could not let her online boyfriend go. Wait, what???   Ok, you figure this one out.

Genoveva Nunez-Figueroa was apparently so hung up on a guy she had met online and went out with about six-times, that when he decided to end their relationship she tried to get into his house through the chimney. The problem: She got stuck halfway down.

According to Capt. Renee Ferguson of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, Nunez-Figueroa, 30, had been stuck in that chimney for an estimated two hours. The owner of the house was a man who had recently ended a relationship with her.
The rescue crew had to deconstruct the chimney and lubricate the woman with dish soap to get her out. Additionally someone had to fork over $2,500 bail money to get her out of jail because she was arrested immediately after her release from a local hospital where she was taken for evaluation.
The man she was dating would only say that his name was “Lawrence”. His indication was that they had met online and dated about 6 times before ending things recently. This apparently was her 2nd time trying to get into this man’s house by way of the chimney.
Apparently “Lawrence” had been delivering some “goodies” to the suspect and she was not ready for “Christmas” to be over.
