“OH WHAT A TANGLED WEB WE WEAVE…..”

I think we have all heard the Walter Scott quote that says “oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.” This quote really rang true recently in New York. According to police reports, 17 year old Zachary Sam met Phillip Pierre online regarding the purchase of a pair of Jordan Retro 8 sneakers. The two met and Sam got into Pierre’s vehicle. Sam allegedly pulled out a gun and stole the sneakers from Pierre and then walked away. Apparently adrenaline kicked in and 39 year old Phillip Pierre made a U-turn, and struck the teen with his Honda Pilot. The teen was pinned against the fence and his right arm was completely severed.

The teen tried to jump on an oncoming bus. As Sam got on the bus, he was yanked off by Pierre but managed to get away. Zachary Sam escaped the grasp of the elder Pierre and ran home where he collapsed.

Sam and his severed arm were taken by ambulance to the hospital where he is in stable condition. No word yet as to whether his arm was able to be attached.

Pierre, on the other hand/arm (pun intended) has been arrested for attempted murder. It is going to be interesting to see whether Pierre will be convicted of this crime. I’m sure that there are arguments on both sides but personally I feel that this man should be set free.

I’m sure that attorneys are lined up at the door of the teen Zachary Sam to say that the punishment does not fit the crime. I beg to differ. I think that Pierre definitely acted in the heat of passion even though this teen was no longer a threat to him. Pierre had just been robbed and the problem for him is that he took matters in his own hand instead of getting the cops involved. How many of us would have acted the same given the circumstances? Let me know your thoughts on this one. It is certainly going to be the topic of conversation for a while.

Is a pair of Air Jordan’s worth all of this unnecessary drama? I think not.

The web of deceit continues……….

WAIT A MINUTE: REALLY?…..

KKK-today
The KKK is getting a makeover (lol)…… [poor child—must be drunk… or high] according to John Abarr, a member of the Montana Klan, out with the old and in with the new – Klan, that is. He says the organization wants to add more diversity because they aim to build a strong America.
According to the Washington Times, “The new Klan will not focus on race, but rather on reining in the federal government and keeping Capitol Hill from establishing a “new world order” under a unified force.
Abarr has been busy folks. He has apparently got the attention of NAACP rep Jimmy Simmons, who he met last year and apparently convinced that the direction of the “new Klan” might be worth looking into. Simmons commented that if Abarr holds a peace summit next summer, he would “take a strong look” at joining” – this according to USA Today.
There are no words from me…

BANANA ROBBERY

Banana robbery

I’ve have many bananas in my life but none as good as this one must be. This man is either having some mental challenges or he is begging to go to jail. Come on man! Seriously???

Via NBC Washington reports: Police in Newington are looking for the man who they said committed a bizarre crime early this morning when he backed an SUV into a Connecticut gas station, stole a banana, ate and left in the damaged vehicle. Police responded to the Citgo Gas Station, located at 502 Cedar Street, after a burglary alarm went off at 1:48 a.m. and noticed extensive damage to the doors, police said. When they reviewed surveillance video, they saw a light-colored Ford Freestyle station wagon with Connecticut registration plates back into the store door several times and break the glass. Then, a man went into the store, took a banana from a shelf, peeled it, ate the fruit and left the store, police said. He man was not wearing a mask, did not try to conceal his face and did not take anything else, police said. As you can see from the photo, the man was wearing a dark jacket, dark pants and a brown hat. He fled in the same car, which has damage to the driver’s side rear bumper and tail light.
