Kelontae Gavin’s “No Ordinary Worship” has been my go to song for the last couple of months. I remember when I first heard this song, I was driving along and had to know who was singing this one. This is my first post of the year and I hope it touches the hearts of any/all that happen upon it. I can’t predict the future but I certainly am expecting a GREAT 2019. I will continue giving praise to GOD. THIS AIN’T NO ORDINARY WORSHIP!!!

This is such a great song. I just had to share it with you today. This of course is another one of my favorites that I’ve been listening to for years. It is called “Oh How Wondrous” and sung by John P. Kee & The New Life Community Choir. Check out the lyrics below:

Oh how wondrous is the name of the Lord,
how we worship, His name is to be adored.
God our Maker endured pain, guilt, and strife,
so that we might access our eternal life.

We offer sincere praise,
We stand and bless Your holy name.
Your blood has loosed all the chains,
all men shall proclaim, there’s power in Your name.

How we love You,
Your name is so sweet,
Your joy is complete.

We love You,
we reverence Your face
in this holy place.

Jehovah Jireh, He who provides for us all.
Our Strong Tower, who hears and moves when we call.
Elohim, He created us from the dust.
Jehovah Shammah, the Lord is present with us.

We offer sincere praise,
We stand and bless Your holy name.
Your blood has loosed all the chains,
all men shall proclaim, there’s power in Your name.

How we love You,
Your name is so sweet,
Your joy is complete.

Oh how wondrous is the name of the Lord.

Oh how wondrous is the name of the Lord.

So sweet is the name of the Lord.

Revelation 19:1
And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God.

I hadn’t heard this song in a while and then I heard it on the radio this past Friday. OMG!!! This is most definitely one of my favorites. It’s something about the lyrics and the way the song is sung that seems to pull the entire Christian experience all together. I hope you take time to listen………….
I didn’t get a chance to go to church today but this “word” certainly ministered to me today. Whether you went today or not, I hope it will minister to you as well.  The song is being sung by  the United Voices Choir with Stephen Hurd.

This song was sent to my inbox by loyal reader Sandra. This is a good song by Tamela Mann called “Change Me.” Tamela has a number of gospel hits because she can sing. I’ve been a bit busy this week and haven’t posted and I certainly missed all of you. Hopefully this song will help in the “change” you need to make.

This song is called “The Anthem” by Todd Dulaney. Last year when I first heard this song, I posted it and said that it could easily be a song about Easter. Well….this is Easter Weekend or Resurrection Weekend as some would call it. I have no idea what anyone else believes BUT…. I believe that Jesus Christ came and died on the cross for my sins. That’s the truth that gives me hope for life on this planet and for when I leave this physical body. That’s VICTORY!
AND….speaking of Victory, check out this song also by Todd Dulaney called “Victory Belongs to Jesus.”

1 Corinthians 15:57 – But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

“He Has His Hands On You” (with lyrics) by Marvin Sapp is one of those songs that I could listen to all day. Listen to the lyrics and how masterfully this song is put together. The song has been out since around 2013 but this is a great song. Hopefully it will help to usher the spirit into your day….

Isaiah 48:13-14King James Version (KJV)

13 Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.

Christmas is in the air!!! Can you feel it? With just a few more days until CHRISTmas 2016, I thought I’d let Whitney Houston help usher the spirit of CHRISTmas in with her rendition of “JOY TO THE WORLD”. What are your big plans for the holidays? Hopefully each of you will remember the reason for the season is CHRIST!!!

There are ten more days until Christmas 2016 and I’m celebrating by posting “JOY” by the GEORGIA MASS CHOIR featuring KIRK FANKLIN. Kirk looks much younger in this video and he actually sings on this one. We usually hear him talk through most songs but his vocals seem on point here. I wonder why he doesn’t use his voice more. Thanks to loyal reader A. Renae for sharing this video. Hopefully you’re in the mood for some “JOY”. ‘Tis the season……………..
