This is a video you just must see. The dancer is Kenichi Ebina and he is the winner of last year’s “America’s Got Talent”.
With the kind of amazing body control that this guy has, it is easy to see why he won. I remember seeing some of his other out-of-this-world performances as well. I’m sure that you will love this.

Uh oh, it’s about to go down… again. Season 2 of Married to Medicine starts in a little over a month. If you’ve been following this blog for any length of time, you already know that I have this thing about reality tv. Yep, it’s true. There are certain shows that I really enjoy watching and Married to Medicine is one of them. Season 1 was the bomb and from the look of the trailer for Season 2, I just can’t wait. The cameras follow these doctors from Atlanta and their spouses. Trust me, no matter the socio-economic background, people are the same. Most of the shows are packed with…………drama and as much as I hate to say it, I love it. You ought to check them out. The new season begins April 5th. Check your local listings.

Reports have surfaced that soul singer Percy Sledge has been diagnosed with liver cancer. The report indicates that Sledge pulled out of a UK tour after reportedly being diagnosed. Percy Sledge is 73 years old and is best know for his 1966 classic “When a Man Loves a Woman”. He was scheduled to perform as a part of David Gest’s Legends of Soul tour.
According to Britain’s The Sun newspaper, Gest told the audience:
“Percy won’t be with us tonight, I’m afraid. He’s in hospital with liver cancer. I know we are all going to pray for him.”

I recently read an article where Patti Labelle was talking about how loosely the term “diva” is used nowadays. I was sent this video by a loyal reader and it made me think about those comments. This is what a real diva looks like. Diana Ross always does things B I G ! ! ! If you’ve ever seen her in concert, you know what I mean. Not only does she put on a good show, she puts on a fashion show as well. Perhaps that’s why she’s called the boss.

There have been reports that there has been some movement in the grave of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The reports began to circulate when news broke that his three youngest children, Martin Luther King III, Dexter King, and Bernice King, were fighting… again. Apparently, he’s turning over in his grave. This time the fight concerns the late civil rights leaders’ “traveling bible” and his Nobel Peace Prize.
MLK Jr.’s sons, have asked a judge to force Bernice to relinquish the aforementioned items. According to the AP, “Martin Luther King Jr.’s heirs in 1995 assigned their rights to property inherited from the civil rights icon to the Estate of Martin Luther King Jr. Inc. The lawsuit says Bernice King has “secreted and sequestered” the medal and Bible in violation of that agreement.”
For her part, Bernice issued a statement that her brothers want the items so they can sell them to a private buyer. She has stated that she is against that.

I had to post this because it is sooooooooo positive. Just listen at the video for yourself. I don’t care what you think about Rihanna. There are so many people that she can reach. Rihanna has lent her persona to: M∙A∙C VIVA GLAM with two strikingly bold shades of red frosted Lipstick and Lipglass, perfectly capturing her fearless, confident style. Every cent of the selling price of VIVA GLAM Rihanna goes toward helping women, men, and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Limited-edition, soft-touch red packaging features Rihanna’s signature.

Today is the 60th birthday of Oprah Winfrey, truly an icon. Just in case you don’t know who she is, you’ve apparently been living under a rock on Mars. When she turned 50, she had a big televised black-tie affair. According to sources, the billionaire (with an estimated net worth of $2.9 billion) will have a low-key 60th birthday at home in California on Wednesday.
For years, I have watched her administer her own brand of magic on this world. She is electrifying, poignant, inspirational, and funny all at the same time. She runs her own cable TV channel, the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), in partnership with Discovery Communications Inc. She has been a mentor and a support system to many over the years including the likes of Tyra Banks and even President Obama. Though I have been inspired by Oprah over the years, I want you to hear her tell of how she was inspired and who it was that inspired her. HAPPY BIRTHDAY OPRAH!!!

This is another one of those dumb stories where someone is trying to beat the system… and got caught. You’ll have to read this one.

Check it out below:
According to JS Online
A Greendale man was sentenced to a year in federal prison Tuesday for fraudulently collecting $175,000 in Social Security benefits and lying on his taxes, after he claimed he was blind and couldn’t work, drive or read without help. In reality, Lawrence Popp could do all those things, according to federal agents who secretly recorded him. The 58-year-old man ran businesses while collecting government benefits and spent lavishly on trips and jewelry, records show. He could read small print on his phone and drive a car, a snowmobile and even a water-ski boat, according to surveillance video recorded and obtained by agents working for the Social Security Administration and the IRS. “The lies are just one after another,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Gordon Giampietro, who recommended two years in prison, said in court. “This is a cynical abuse of a program truly geared to those who need assistance.” Popp’s attorney, Raymond Dall’Osto, recommended probation, citing Popp’s continuing health problems. Dall’Osto said his client is guilty but noted the money he stole and the taxes he failed to pay would be repaid quickly.
