I NEED YOU TO SURVIVE……….. THANK YOU

This is the first song that I thought about today when I began thinking about a way to say THANK YOU to all of the bloggers, friends, and anyone who comes to visit this blog. The truth is that we all need each other on this planet more than we know in order to survive. I think about all of the violence going on in this country basically regarding race. I think it is so ironic that in one week to see people fighting each other and then the next week pulling together to watch the sun and the moon (the eclipse). AND then the following week people having to merge together to support each other because of a major hurricane that is devastating lives. Sometimes we can’t see the big picture because we’re all up in the frame.
Okay, back to the reason I’m doing this post. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU…for all of the likes, the comments, the love, the education, the friendship, and just for being you. If I posted this song before, just know that I like the song just as much now as I did before. Again, I appreciate you all…

After the TOTALLY UNNECESSARY VIOLENCE that occurred yesterday in Charlottesville, VA (if you don’t already know about it, google it because I’m not going to give that nonsense any more energy), the 44th President of the United States of America Barack Obama tweeted the following. Hopefully his messages will give rise to the love that this world so desperately craves. I’m also lighting a candle for the victims…

Today is National Siblings Day. The day was founded by native New Yorker, Claudia Evart in 1995 to honor and celebrate siblings. After losing her two siblings early in life in separate accidents, she knew how important siblings could be in our lives. I happen to have a large family and we communicate with each other regularly even though we live in different cities/states. Make sure that you reach out to your siblings today. Check out the song from 1979 by Sister Sledge called “We Are Family.”

Everywhere you go you can see signs that Valentine’s Day is tomorrow 2/14/2017. Today I began thinking about my favorite love songs and this one definitely popped in my mind. It is called “Unbreak My Heart” by Toni Braxton. As a matter of fact in my opinion this is the best song that she made. It is very laid back and has a real nice vibe.

This one’s deep. Real deep. The video was posted initially in 2015 but… I didn’t see it until 2 days ago. I usually am moved by songs/videos, AND…things that are extremely poignant. This is definitely on that level. I’m not going to tell you what you’re going to see before you see it but trust me, you’ll like what you see. On a scale of 1-10 where ten is superior… THIS ONE’S THE BEST!!!
