SUNDAY AFTERNOON JAM SESSION

I heard this song today and of course, I just had to post it. It’s out a while. This one is by Deitrick Haddon, Ruben Studdard, and Mary Mary called “Love Him Like I Do.” This is another one of those songs with an upbeat groove. I hope you love it like I do…….

THANK YOU!!!

“God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today.
Have you used one to say “thank you?”
-William A Ward-

This……..is real!!! When I saw this quote it made me reflect on how grateful we should be EVERYDAY for this life. There are people who are alive and don’t even know that they are alive. How often is it that we get up and function each and every day without considering the fact that it is a major blessing for us to do so? True enough that we don’t do the things that we should do but…certainly we should be so thankful for every breath that we get to take. Today I’m posting the video “Thank You” that is being covered by gospel duo Mary, Mary. This song was originally done by gospel icon Walter Hawkins and The Love Center Choir. Have a wonderful Friday. AND don’t forget to say THANKS!!!

GIVING THANKS

Okay this is another busy day and I don’t have a lot of time for this post. I really had to share this song. This is one of those tunes that stuck in my head and heart the minute that I heard it. It’s called “You Deserve It” by JJ. HAIRSTON & YOUTHFUL PRAISE. This is one of those WOW songs to me. I can’t tell you how many times that this song comes up in my mind daily. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do. oh, and enjoy your Thanksgiving!!!

FRIDAY INSPIRATION

This was in my in-box this morning from loyal reader A. Renae.  I hope it gets you going like it did me.  This is a flashback video called “When I Rose This Morning” by the Mississippi Mass Choir.  Hopefully this will encourage you to get up and keep it moving as you function in your hopes, dreams, and goals.  Be inspired!!!

GET REAL…

The above music is Donnie McClurkin’s “Great is Your Mercy.”  This is another one of those songs that helps to put life in perspective.  Too often there are those who think that everything is about them and what they are doing when in the big scheme of things it is God’s grace and mercy that even allows us to function daily.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. Ephesians 2:4-5 NIV.  The song is several years old but it certainly has a timeless meaning.  Let me know what you think……….
