In the midst of Aretha Franklin lying corpse is another deceased icon’s 60th birthday. Today is Michael Jackson’s 60th birthday As much as I liked Aretha’s music, I really LOVED Michael Jackson’s music/videos. Michael’s music affected thousands of other artists even to this day. I can’t tell you how many times I stayed up to midnight to be one of the first to purchase his latest cd. Today’s offering is a compilation of some of his songs. It’s still hard to believe that he’s gone. GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN!!!
Some of the things that come out of the mouth of kids is sometimes soooooooo amazing. Some of these parents really need more parenting skills. As funny as it is, it is also somewhat sad. Tell me what you think about this one. I’m at a loss for words. “Do you want me to move out???”
I used to think that the lyrics to this song was saying: “I’m not lucky in love”, but that is not at all the case. The song is titled
“I’M NOT LUCKY I’M LOVED” BY Jonathan McReynolds. I’ve been grooving to this one for a couple of months now. I hope you like it.
My baby sister sent me this and all I can say is WOW!!! This little kid decided to baptize himself and he has gone viral. It is my understanding that millions of people have now seen this video. You’ve got to see it for yourself.
I realize that I’ve been absent from wordpress for a while now (just very busy). There are a lot of you that I haven’t visited in a minute but don’t worry, I will be visiting you soon.
I have not seen anything this funny in a while. If you see ANYTHING funnier than this today, please….let me see it!!!
Whoever came up with this did a good job of putting life in perspective. As a matter of fact, I personally know two people who got off the train this month….. I hope you take time to watch this short video. This was sent to me by a special loyal reader who happens to celebrate her birthday yesterday…
This is a song that I’m currently grooving to. The song is called “Even Me” and it is by Darlene McCoy who is a radio personality for Radio One. Her format is gospel and she can be found in the evenings on the air. I usually listen to her on 102.5 FM in the Atlanta area. Tell me what you think about this tune…
I saw this trailer yesterday and I can’t wait until the movie comes out. There is so much that the general public does not know about this iconic figure and so much that we will never know. When…will we let this woman REST IN PEACE. I still can’t wait to see the movie.
I heard this lady on Showtime At The Apollo and trust me she sounds a lot like the late Whitney Houston. Her name is Glennis Grace. According to networth.com:
“Glennis Grace (born as Glenda Hulita Elisabeth Batta, 19 June 1978, Amsterdam) is a singer from the Netherlands who in 2005 won the national selection in the Netherlands for the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 for the nation. Grace’s song was the ballad My Impossible Dream, but she did not advance the semifinal. She was discovered after she won a Dutch TV talent show where she performed Whitney Houston’s “One Moment in Time”. In April 2011 she reached the top of the Dutch singles chart with a rendition of “Afscheid”, originally made famous by Volumia!”
The ship called “Yesterday” has already sailed…
Set your sights and total attention to this moment of today…THE PRESENT.
