I ran across this from some notes that I took in church one Sunday. I’m not sure who the author is or who preached the sermon. I just know that this was poignant enough for me to write it down and keep. I hope you get the message and enjoy the remainder of your day:
A pencil-maker told the pencil 5 important lessons before putting it in the box.
1.) Everything you do will always leave a mark.
2.) You can always correct the mistakes you make.
3.) What is most important is what’s inside of you.
4.) In life, you will undergo painful sharpening’s which will only make you better.
5.) To be the best pencil, you must allow yourself to be held and guided by the hand that holds you.
