First of all I want to thank one of my favorites, Xena at blackbutterfly7.wordpress.com for nominating me.  If you haven’t visited her site, you must do so.  Once there, you’ll be treated properly.  Her mantra: We Hold These Truths To Be Self-Evident that all men are created equal.

I am so behind in getting some of these awards out.  But…. I guess there is no deadline in doing so.  Today is a very busy day but I certainly wanted to get this done.  These blogs that I’m nominating today are just some of the sites that bring me joy and hopefully studiotj does the same for them.  There are many others.  I’m doing something a little different with this award.  Instead of answering a bunch of questions, I want you to pretend that you are receiving a major award.  Let us read your acceptance speech!  There is one in particular that I can’t wait to read and I will not say which one.  Good Luck.  The nominees are as follows:

  2. LOL, TJ thanks for this! I can just imagine you seated on a comfy sofa with popcorn on one hand and soda drink on the other. Oh well, I haven’t given any award acceptance speeches before, so you have to be gentle with me 🙂

I can’t believe I got nominated for this award category *beams a really flashing smile exposing shiny white teeth* First of all, I want to thank God for this opportunity. My inspiration to write comes from Him. I want to say a big thank you to TJ for this nomination! Your blog is amazing! I always look forward to your posts because I’m certain there’s a good dose of positivity waiting for me! Thanks to all my readers and followers.   5. Congratulations – and thank you. I see you bend the rules too 🙂 so my question is answered.
    I accept the challenge – I have never given an acceptance speech before, so … we’ll see what emerges.

  6. Writing an acceptance speech would be challenging but it would be something along the lines of: “TJ, congratulations on your nomination and thanks for the support! I enjoy visiting your blog and hope I’m able to continue delivering a bit of positive light and peace to your busy day! I spend so much of my time as a ‘background singer’ – someone who gives sound to others, especially those who don’t believe they have a voice… So I humbly accept the Dedicated Blogger Award nomination but I’ll have to share it with all the other background singers who tirelessly advocate for those who find themselves in crisis as a result of violence/assaults.”

    Thanks again for including me among some great writers/heavy hitters! 🙂

  7. Hey, thanks cjstorm 🙂 Got another question tj – I notice the photograph of the award is copyrighted… do you know if it can be used as long as it is attributed ? I’m a bit thingy about copyright stuff 😦

    • Good morning. When these awards are “given” away they are meant to be shared with others. The copyright is always there and you’re not trying to indicate that you were the one responsible for the picture itself. It’s just like if you publish someone else’s work. As long as you indicate that it is that person’s work, you’re good.
