I’ve had a number of conversations about the Oxygen reality tv show called “Preachers of LA”. A number of people have had a lot to say about this show. For the record, I LOVE watching reality tv but I must tell you… this is my favorite BY FAR!!! The thing I like about it is that it does not matter where you are spiritually, you can get ministered to by watching this show. They cover a lot of issues and that is definitely what happens in life… a lot of issues. This show WILL BE around for a while because I think a whole lot of people get it. I suggest that you watch it objectively. It can and will minister to you.

Sometimes I wish little babies could talk. I saw an article saying that this baby is getting emotional about this song. Most people who see it surely think that this baby is really enjoying this song. I guess we’ll never really know the true emotions of this kid. I certainly won’t be the one to rain on this woman’s parade. It really does seem that the baby is moved to tears by his mom singing this song. Tell me what you think. The little one was identified by Canada’s TVA as Mary Lynne Leroux. Mom, Amanda, told TVA that she’s too shy to sing in public — but clearly, she’s found an appreciative audience at home.

A young man was killed as he followed an ambulance carrying his sister who had just committed suicide. Brenda Tucker, a 21 year old suffering from depression (according to her uncle) grabbed a gun and shot herself at her family-owned bar. An ambulance took her to the hospital and she was pronounced dead. Her 20 year old brother, Ricky Tucker raced to the hospital to check on her. He apparently crossed the center line in his vehicle and was struck by an SUV. He was killed. The story doesn’t quite end there. Apparently just six months earlier, the younger brother, who had just died-killed his step father. According to sources, he killed the step-father in self defense. The police let the young boy right out of jail because the stepfather was shooting at him.

I have mixed feelings about this article that I just read. The man convicted of killing Michael Jackson has been released from prison (he served 2 years out of 4). His early release is due to good behavior (are you kidding me-for murder?). You can check out he article yourself.

Conrad Murray, the doctor convicted in the death of pop star Michael Jackson, was released from Men’s Central Jail at 12:01 a.m. Monday, authorities confirmed.

Murray, who served two years behind bars for the 2011 involuntary manslaughter conviction, eluded a waiting scrum of TV cameras and die-hard Jackson fans.

The 60-year-old was sentenced to the maximum four-year term allowed for his role in Jackson’s death on June 25, 2009, from an overdose of the anesthetic propofol, which Murray administered

Under state sentencing rules, Murray was eligible for parole well in advance of four years, but Murray has nonetheless endured a long ordeal since Jackson’s death, said his attorney Valerie Wass.

“They didn’t release him one minute early,” she said, speaking outside the jail early Monday morning. “I’m just happy he’s finally out.”

Wass implored members of the media to respect Murray’s privacy as he reacclimates to his life. His first priority was seeing his family, she said.

She added that she believes Murray will one day practice medicine again.

The physician has challenged his conviction, and that effort will continue in the state Court of Appeal, Wass said. Murray is seeking to have the verdict overturned because of insufficient evidence, which would entitle him to practice medicine once more in California. But Wass also has appealed on other grounds that would not necessarily preserve Murray’s license, but would undo the conviction.

A Los Angeles jury this month found that concert promoter AEG Live was not liable in Jackson’s death, capping a marathon civil trial that laid bare the troubled singer’s health problems, struggles with drugs and fateful attempt at a comeback tour. The issues in court included who was responsible for hiring Murray and overseeing his treatment of Jackson.

Wass’s claim that Murray has a contingent of “loyal” patients garnered heckling from a cluster of fans who had hoped to give Murray a piece of their minds as he walked free.

Wass turned to face the pop star’s supporters.

“Do you guys mind?” she asked, her voice rising. “This group of fans isn’t respecting [Jackson’s] legacy.”

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore, who briefly addressed reporters, offered few details about Murray’s exit, except to say that he was released to “representatives,” and that such releases are allowed to ensure certain inmates’ safety and security on a “case-by-case” basis.

He would not confirm whether Murray was driven away in a sheriff’s department vehicle.

Still, the covert release riled Jackson supporters who said Murray received undue “special treatment.”

Laura Sherwood, 27, said she moved from Phoenix to follow Murray’s trial. She said she had hoped that Murray would show remorse.

“I just want to know why he won’t admit and take responsibility for what he did,” she said.

Julia Thomas said she wanted to tell Murray that “he’s going to be taunted as long as he walks this earth.”

Karlene Taylor, who wore a T-shirt that read “Thriller Killer” in blood red lettering, jumped in.

“If you go to any corner of the world,” she said, “they know Michael Jackson and Jesus.”

With Halloween coming up, there are a lot of people out trying to come up with creative costumes. I can assure you that they are going to have to work very hard to outdo this man. A one-legged Paralympian known for his hilarious Halloween getups that utilize his disability has bested himself with an amazing flamingo costume.
Josh Sundquist uses a bright pink body suit with crutches colored similarly with a slipper that looks like a flamingo’s head to pull off his extremely creative costume. When he flips upside down, he looks very much like… a flamingo.
