DON’T WORRY USHER…

The saga continues in the case of Usher Raymond versus Tameka Raymond in the custody case involving their two kids. As of late, the Raymond’s oldest son, Usher Raymond V, was briefly hospitalized after a near-drowning accident. Fulton County Superior Court Judge John J. Goger granted Tameka Raymond’s request for an emergency hearing on Tuesday — one day after her 5-year-old son nearly drowned in his aunt’s swimming pool in Fulton County. The emergency hearing is scheduled for Friday, August 9.

Tameka Raymond is asking Judge Goger to reverse a previous court order giving singer Usher Raymond primary custody of their two sons, Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely, 4.
In my opinion, there will be no reversal of custody in this case. Here’s why: firstly, Usher Raymond is now the custodial parent of those kids. Secondly, accidents happen all of the time involving adults as well as children. Was there negligence in this case? As far as I can tell, no. Let’s suppose that it was very hot and Usher took the kids out and left them in a hot car as he went into the store for a while. That would be negligence and I can see the judge perhaps reconsidering custody. In this instance, I can’t possible see the judge making a reversal on the custody order. I’m sure Tameka is missing all of that money that she would be getting if she in fact had full custody. Sorry Tameka, that money train has left the station… and your ticket is no longer any good.

  1. It would be nice if the money train allowed him to feel the birth pain and if he had any compassion he would have wanted this lady who gave birth and lost one child last year to have time with this child to ease her pain and not be thinking about money. There is no amount of money that can pay for your child’s life that’s what my Mom says !
